1. Charging Your Kindle Oasis
Before first use, fully charge your Kindle Oasis. Connect the included USB cable to the charging port on your device and plug the other end into a power adapter (sold separately) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will turn green when fully charged.

To power on your Kindle Oasis, press and hold the power button located on the top edge of the device for a few seconds until the screen lights up. 1. Navigating Your Device
The Kindle Oasis offers both touchscreen navigation and physical page turn buttons.

To open a book, tap its cover on the Home screen. While reading, you can:
- Turn Pages: Tap the left/right side of the screen or use the page turn buttons.
