Connect your speakers to the corresponding terminals on the rear panel. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for optimal sound performance. The receiver supports a 7.2 channel configuration. For bi-amping or front high speakers, refer to the detailed wiring diagrams in the full manual.

3. Initial Setup and Auto Calibration

Place the microphone at your primary listening position and initiate the calibration process.
4. Network Setup (Wi-Fi & Bluetooth)
The STR-DN850 features built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for network and wireless audio streaming.
- Wi-Fi: Access the network settings menu on your TV screen via the receiver. Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password. This enables features like AirPlay, DLNA, and internet radio.
- Bluetooth: Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device. On the receiver, select the Bluetooth input. Pair your device with the receiver. For NFC-compatible devices, simply touch your device to the receiver's NFC logo for instant pairing.
