The hygger Quiet Self-Priming Canister Filter is designed for efficient and quiet water filtration in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It features a quick, simple auto-start mechanism, eliminating the need for manual siphoning or priming. The filter automatically restarts if power is interrupted and restored, ensuring continuous operation.

This filter provides efficient and quiet 3-stage filtration, including foam pads for mechanical filtration, activated carbons for chemical filtration, and ceramic rings for biological filtration. This customizable system allows you to tailor media to your tank's specific needs.

A built-in 7-watt UV bulb with a protective case effectively addresses algae blooms and eliminates cloudiness, contributing to crystal clear water and a healthy aquatic environment. The quick inlet and outlet connect valve simplifies water flow adjustment, attachment, and disconnection of hoses for easy maintenance.

The 475 GPH model is recommended for 40-80 gallon freshwater and saltwater aquariums and planted tanks. It is not suitable for low water level turtle tanks.

Follow these steps to set up your Hygger Canister Filter:

1. Chuẩn bị bộ lọc: Open the canister by loosening and disengaging the four lid fasteners. Remove all filter baskets and filter media.

2. Rinse Filter Media: Thoroughly rinse all filter media (foam pads, activated carbon, ceramic rings) with clean water before placing them back into the baskets.
3. Load Filter Media: Fill each basket with the appropriate filter media. Ensure the media is placed from bottom to top in the following order: filter sponge, activated carbon, and ceramic rings. Make sure all holes are lined up correctly.

4. Reassemble Canister: Place the filter lid back on the canister. Gently press the lid down and fasten it with the four lid fasteners until they click into place.
5. Assemble Valve: Slide the orange lever onto the IN/OUT connection on the filter lid. Press the orange lever down until it clicks into place.

6. Install Hoses: Assemble the input and output hose assemblies, including the telescopic inlet tube and spray bar. Connect the hoses to the IN/OUT valve on the filter head.

8. Connect to Aquarium: Connect the inlet tube to the aquarium's intake valve and the outlet tube to the return valve. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.

1. Start the Filter: Plug in the power cord and press the 'SET' button on the filter head. The filter will begin its self-priming process, automatically filling with water and starting circulation.

4. Clean/Replace Media: Pull out the filter media baskets using their handles. Rinse foam pads and ceramic rings with old aquarium water (to preserve beneficial bacteria) or replace them if heavily soiled. Replace activated carbon every 2-4 weeks as it becomes exhausted.

• Impeller Placement: Confirm the impeller is correctly placed and free from debris.
• Priming Issue: If the filter doesn't self-prime, unplug the canister, fill the inlet hose with water (e.g., using a cup), then restart the filter.
